Mafi Kumase SHS savages Dorfor SHS in Upper Mid South penalty duel

Students at Mafi-Kumase Senior High Technical School threw a massive party after crushing their rivals at the biggest sports competition of the year. The school grabbed gold medals across multiple events and kept their soccer crown for another year. Ten schools battled it out from July 1 through July 7 during the Upper Mid-South Zone festival. MAKSTEC hosted the entire event on their campus and proved they rule the region. Athletes from track and field to table tennis brought home trophies for their school.

The soccer final turned into a nail-biting drama against Dorfor Senior High School. Neither team could score during regular time as goalkeepers made amazing saves. The match went straight to penalty kicks where MAKSTEC players kept their cool under pressure. Coach Prosper Dorkenoo led his team to back-to-back championships with smart tactics. The victory marked the second straight year MAKSTEC beat their zone rivals.

Coach Dorkenoo plans to build a soccer dynasty at the school after watching his players dominate again. He bragged about creating a winning strategy with just one week of practice time. The coach warned other schools to prepare for even tougher battles next season. Frank Ali from the Physical Education Department praised every athlete who competed for MAKSTEC. The school moves forward to Super Zonal Competition starting July 13 at Anloga.
