Africa Law Practice adds Côte d’Ivoire powerhouse

Africa Law Practice International has expanded its reach across the continent by adding an Abidjan-based firm as its tenth member organization. Effi & Associés joined the pan-African legal network during a ceremony held at the firm's Ivorian offices, marking a significant step in ALPi's growth strategy within Francophone West Africa.

The addition establishes ALPi's presence in Côte d'Ivoire while expanding the network's footprint to ten countries. Member firms operate across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, Namibia, and Mauritius. This geographic diversity positions ALPi as one of the continent's most extensive legal networks aligned with the African Continental Free Trade Area objectives.

Olasupo Shasore, a senior partner at ALPi Nigeria, praised the development as excellent news for clients throughout the ten African Union states where the network maintains operations. Serge Effi leads the newly affiliated firm, which has earned recognition as a prominent business law practice in the region. The partnership strengthens ALPi's capacity to serve clients across both Anglophone and Francophone markets in Africa.
