Akatsi North Hails Bless Katamani as New DCE

The Akatsi North District Assembly in Ghana's Volta Region unanimously approved Mr. Bless Kodjo Katamani as their new District Chief Executive through a landmark vote. All 18 assembly members, representing both elected and government-appointed positions, voted in favor of the nominee, achieving a perfect 100 percent endorsement.

Katamani secured more than the two-thirds majority mandated under local governance regulations, signaling robust support for his leadership. During his victory statement, he expressed profound gratitude to assembly members, local chiefs, community leaders, and residents who placed their confidence in his potential.

Emphasizing an inclusive administrative approach, Katamani pledged to welcome developmental ideas across political spectrums. He committed to advancing critical sectors, including education, sports, healthcare, infrastructure, and transportation, positioning the district for comprehensive progress.

Regional Minister James Gunu praised the assembly members for embracing a transformative vision of growth and prosperity. Residents welcomed the appointment, urging Katamani to fulfill promises and drive meaningful change throughout the district.

The newly appointed official, marking the fourth District Chief Executive for Akatsi North, officially assumed office after being sworn in by Electoral Commission representatives. Katamani's unanimous confirmation represents a significant milestone for local governance and community development.
