Algeria's robot army training starts in Annaba

Algeria's telecommunications ministry runs a robotics instructor certification course at its Annaba Skills Center. The Annaba Youth Club for Programming and Robotics partners with the government facility while the Directorate of Youth and Sports provides oversight. Officials operate the program as part of a broader strategy to offer no-cost advanced technology education through specialized training centers. These facilities teach artificial intelligence, robotics and cybersecurity to support the nation's digital development goals.

Four Skills Centers currently serve students in Setif, Annaba, Chlef and Oran provinces. The ministry plans to open similar facilities in Algeria's remaining regions. These centers function as educational hubs where citizens can access high-level technical training without fees. The expansion represents Algeria's commitment to building a digitally skilled workforce.
