Former Flying Eagles striker Ibrahim Aliyu wrote his name into Major League Soccer history books with his latest strike for Columbus Crew. The Nigerian forward scored his second goal of the campaign during Columbus Crew's 2-1 win against Vancouver Whitecaps. Aliyu found the back of the net after only 68 seconds had passed during the exciting match. His quick strike became the second-fastest goal ever recorded during regular season play for Columbus Crew players. The 23-year-old player moved to Columbus Crew from Houston Dynamo during April and has appeared eight times for the Black and Gold squad.
