Anime-Style RPG Neverness to Everness Teases GTA-Like Open World Gameplay

Hotta Studio revealed new footage for Neverness to Everness during a recent Containment Test Preview livestream. The open-world gacha RPG shows characters moving through an urban setting that resembles anime-style cities. Players can control characters who steal cars and escape from police officers. The game combines Japanese animation art with crime simulation elements that mirror popular action games. Developers demonstrated traversal systems and character abilities during the presentation.

Hotta Studio announced the project nearly twelve months ago as their follow-up title after Tower of Fantasy. The company operates as a subsidiary under Perfect World Entertainment. Tower of Fantasy struggled to compete against dominant gacha games from HoYoverse such as Genshin Impact. Neverness to Everness aims to capture a different audience through its modern city environment and vehicle mechanics. The studio hopes this urban approach will distinguish their game from fantasy-themed competitors.

Unreal Engine 5 powers the game's visual systems and supports advanced graphics features. Cel-shaded rendering creates the anime aesthetic that appeals to target players. NVIDIA DLSS technology will boost performance on compatible hardware. Ray tracing effects will enhance lighting and reflections throughout the world. Players can find additional details about upcoming tests on the official game website.
