APC youth warn Makinde to start packing

Opposition youth factions in Oyo State have delivered a blunt message to the sitting governor, demanding he prepare exit documents as they ready themselves to capture power during the next electoral contest. The All Progressives Congress youth wing, speaking through State Youth Leader John Aremu at their Oke-Ado headquarters in Ibadan, declared their intention to dismantle what they characterize as failed governance under Seyi Makinde's administration.

Recent reconciliation between former Senate Leader Teslim Folarin and Power Minister Adebayo Adelabu signals restored cohesion within party ranks after previous electoral setbacks. Aremu emphasized that internal rifts have healed, positioning the opposition for a coordinated assault on the ruling party's hold.

The youth wing plans a major summit designed to construct grassroots networks and digital outreach strategies ahead of the approaching campaign season. Aremu stressed that young progressives across all local government areas will unite behind a leadership blueprint focused on disciplined mobilization rather than fragmented efforts.
