Apple has reportedly canceled development of a high-end Vision Pro headset to concentrate on AI-powered smart glasses, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. The company suspended work on the premium model codenamed N100 while continuing development of a cheaper headset variant. Apple targets a 2026 launch for AI glasses featuring cameras, microphones, and speakers that enable hands-free notifications, real-time assistance, and translations through an enhanced Siri, but the device will lack an integrated augmented reality display.
