Army Chief Warns Bawku Troublemakers Days Numbered

The Army Chief has sent a clear message to troublemakers in Bawku. Major General Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu spoke firmly after he visited the troubled area in the Upper East Region. He told reporters on Wednesday that anyone who attacks regular people or soldiers will face serious consequences. The military considers these acts as extremism and will respond with full force. The Ghana Armed Forces stands ready to stop all violence in the area.

Major General Gbetanu made it clear that violent people cannot hide anywhere. The military will find and catch anyone using weapons against others in Bawku. He promised that his forces would bring all attackers to justice. The Army Chief showed strong determination to end the problems in the town. His words came after he checked the situation in the conflict area.
