Asetek Ingrid Cooler Silences Beastly PCs

Asetek created a new cooling system called Ingrid for computer builders and companies. The new pump design uses special molding to make it run smoother and quieter. This cooling platform can handle really hot processors up to 400 watts without making noise. Computer experts who build custom machines will find this system easy to work with. The company built Ingrid to compete with other liquid cooling products on the market.

The system watches coolant temperature through a sensor built into the cold plate. When liquid gets too hot, the pump speeds up automatically to keep things cool. This prevents sudden temperature jumps that make fans spin faster and create more noise. Users can connect monitoring software to see real-time temperature data from the sensor. The automatic controls help maintain steady temperatures during heavy computer use.

Installation takes just three simple steps because the mounting bracket connects directly to the pump. Builders can position the water tubes at four different angles to fit various computer cases. The pump uses special magnets and mounting parts that reduce vibrations. To make the system last longer, Asetek avoided using rare earth materials. The cooling platform works with current processor sockets and future designs.
