Asparion introduced the D700 Rack for live production

Somebody out there will chain these together until 64 motorised faders stare back at them. Asparion added the D700 Rack, keeping the formula intact while bolting on brackets that slot the unit into any standard 19-inch rack.

Touring rigs, control rooms, and permanent installs are the obvious targets. Everything the regular D700 does carries across, meaning 16 touch-sensitive 100mm motor faders at 12-bit resolution across 4000 steps, 17 endless RGB encoders with snap, and 76 programmable LED buttons.

Sixteen LED rings carry 15 LEDs apiece with a 128-step mode, while optional OLED screens surface parameter names and levels instantly. The laser-engraved anodised aluminium shell handles daily abuse on the road.

Hookup duties fall to USB-C; two quarter-inch TRS jacks take expression and sustain pedals, and protocol coverage spans MIDI CC, HUI, Mackie, OSC, and MQTT. Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, and iPadOS all play nice.

Asparion's software remaps every control for audio, lighting, or media work. Expansion runs through the D700F and D700S. Five-year warranty attached, $2,349 at launch.
