Audiomovers adds Minibus plug-in to boost audio routing

Audiomovers just added a brand new plugin to their Mac software lineup. They call it Minibus, and it works with their virtual patchbay program Omnibus 3.0. This fresh plugin lets different computers talk to each other through NDI when they share the same network. Anyone who needs to move audio between multiple machines will find this super helpful.

Audiomovers launched Omnibus 3.0 back in June 2024. The program already helped users send audio between different apps and hardware devices on one computer. The addition of Minibus takes everything up a notch by connecting separate computers through NDI. Audio pros can use this setup for comparing immersive mixes, switching between monitor systems, linking machines in studios, or hooking up to fancy immersive audio interfaces.

Igor Maxymenko is a co-founder of Audiomovers' product team. He explained that they want to knock down barriers that slow down audio work and team projects. Their goal is to make audio routing simple across networks—even wireless ones. This helps sound engineers spend less time-fighting technical issues and more time making amazing audio projects in studios and recording sessions.

When it comes out, you can buy Minibus by itself for $49.99. The better deal might be getting Omnibus 3.0 since Minibus comes included at no extra cost. Audiomovers wants people to test the beta version right away. They haven't set an official release date yet. Anyone interested can check out more details directly from their website.
