Audrey Hobert drops playful new single Bowling Alley about clout and loneliness

Audrey Hobert makes pop music for suburban girls and just shared her second single. The rising artist released Sue Me last month which became popular very fast. People learned she writes songs with famous musician Gracie Abrams who grew up near her.

Her newest track called Bowling While goes acoustic and talks about fake friends. The song explores feeling unwanted at parties even when people invite you directly. Hobert also sings about people who ignore you until you become successful.

She explained that the track captures two different experiences from her life. Some friends only pay attention when she does something artistic or gets public recognition. The musician decided to turn these frustrating feelings into a new song.

Hobert considers Bowling Alley her best work and says it represents who she is as a person. She directed the music video herself and performed the song live at the Slipper Room in New York. The acoustic track shows her talent for writing songs about complicated relationships.

The young artist continues building her career with honest lyrics about modern friendship problems. Her music connects with listeners who face similar issues with social circles. Hobert proves that suburban experiences can create powerful pop songs when handled correctly.
