Bangladesh women's football team secures first Asian Cup spot as BFF pledges support

Bangladesh Football Federation chief Tabith Awal promised Monday to back the women's team with everything they need for their Australia mission. The pledge came during a late-night party for the female players after they returned from Myanmar. The squad made history when they earned their first spot at the Women's Asian Cup. Awal thanked them for representing Bangladesh and women everywhere. He said they changed how people think about society.

The federation head praised the team as agents of change who rewrote the record books. He told them they made the world see Bangladesh differently. The country is no longer known just for floods and disasters but as a football nation. Awal said they showed the world that Bangladesh supports women's equality and empowerment. He promised they would never go backwards or leave women behind.

The team will receive full support for the Women's Asian Cup finals scheduled for Australia next March. The tournament serves as a pathway to both the World Cup and Olympics. Awal reminded the players that 180 million Bangladeshis stood behind them. He said the federation would provide prayers, experience, and expertise to help them succeed. Their battle cry remains Mission Australia.
