A depression that formed from an earlier weather system crossed coastal areas between South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh early Saturday morning. The system has weakened as it moved inland and continues tracking westward.

The monsoon trough extends across multiple Indian states and southern Bangladesh, though monsoon activity remains limited over the country.
