Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe Faces Assault, Taser Charges

Robert Mugabe's son Bellarmine Chatunga faces serious legal problems after attacking people around Zimbabwe. The 28-year-old shocked a truck driver with a taser gun because the man did not greet him properly at Iron Mask Farm. Police have seven different cases against Chatunga for assault, torture and gun crimes. He appeared at Concession Magistrates Court on Tuesday for three violent charges. The court gave him $200 bail after he spent one night behind bars.

Moreblessing Chinoripi was just doing his job when Chatunga called for truck services at the mine. The 52-year-old driver arrived around 7PM and said hello to Chatunga like any normal person would. Chatunga got angry and said the greeting lacked respect. He pulled out his taser and sent electric shocks through Chinoripi's body. The victim had no visible injuries but the state says Chatunga broke the law.

The former president's son has attacked other people around Mazowe area. He beat up five security guards at Ultimate Mine because he thought they helped illegal miners. Chatunga also slapped a school groundsman and had his bodyguards join the beating. Last year he grabbed a police officer at a roadblock and ripped the man's shirt buttons off.
