The popular Indian comedy series Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai is getting a sequel called Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0, and the creators are throwing in some supernatural elements this time around. The main cast gets relocated to Ghunghatganj, a mysterious town where weird stuff happens constantly, and they meet a sketchy new character named Vidya who stirs up all kinds of chaos.
The sequel mixes comedy with spooky vibes while keeping the same characters people already know from the original show. EDIT II Productions is behind the project, which launches soon on the &TV channel and Zee5 streaming platform.
The franchise is also expanding into theaters with a movie titled Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain – Fun On The Run, dropping in February 2026. The original series started back in 2015 and was based on an older 1990s sitcom called Shrimaan Shrimati.
