BRAC carnival crowns changemakers, youth drive fresh ideas

BRAC threw their annual youth fest in Savar with over 250 kids showing off social impact projects they built from scratch. The Carnival of Change ran exhibitions and workshops where young entrepreneurs pitched everything from disability-friendly audiobooks to coconut shell charcoal startups. Three winners scored the Young Changemakers Award, plus a new fellowship program that gives them actual support instead of just clout.

Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed told everyone to chase their obsessions until they make it, and BRAC's Asif Saleh basically said Stop doomscrolling Instagram because AI is reshaping the job market faster than anyone realizes. Warfaze and Sovvota closed out the first night with live performances, while the runner-up projects got shoutouts even though they missed the top prize.

BRAC's Amra Notun Network has been running since 2018, training university students across 17 districts, and some of their grads have already landed recognition from the Gates Foundation and NASA for their work.
