Bulawayo Council Impounds Cars Parked Illegally

The Bulawayo City Council took action on Sunday night. They seized several vehicles in the city's western suburbs, including Emganwini, Nketa, and Nkulumane cars. The vehicles were not parked in the right spots overnight. Some were outside car parks, and others were at shopping centers and gas stations. The city wanted to send a clear message: Everyone needs to follow parking rules.

The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Edwin Ndlovu, spoke about the operation. He said it's about making people follow the rules. These rules have been around for a long time. They're called by-laws. The by-laws say where you can and can't park your car overnight. If you park in the wrong spot, your car might disappear. That's what happened on Sunday night. The city wants people to park properly.
