Chelsea collapse at home as Brighton bury ten men

Brighton defeated Chelsea 3-1 at Stamford Bridge despite trailing at halftime. Enzo Fernandez put the hosts ahead with a 24th-minute header before defender Trevoh Chalobah received a red card eight minutes into the second half. Video assistant referee review confirmed the dismissal after Chalobah fouled Diego Gomez and denied a clear scoring opportunity.

Danny Welbeck equalized for the visitors with 13 minutes remaining through a header. Maxim De Cuyper gave Brighton the lead during stoppage time with another headed finish. The 34-year-old former England international Welbeck sealed victory with his second goal moments later.
