Clair Obscur tops New York Game Awards as Hades II and Oblivion win big

That French RPG juggernaut just snatched a fresh trophy for the shelf. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 dominated the New York Game Awards, claiming the Big Apple Award. Sandfall Interactive keeps stacking victories after sweeping The Game Awards recently. This title already eclipsed Baldur's Gate 3 on the global leaderboard. It only lost against Hollow Knight: Silksong when fans controlled the voting on Steam.

Jennifer English secured the Great White Way Award for her performance as Maelle. Blue Prince grabbed the Off Broadway Award for indies while Blippo+ took the Herman Melville Award for writing. Hades II claimed the Statue of Liberty Award for world-building. South of Midnight won the Tin Pan Alley Award for its soundtrack.

Local developers saw Ball x Pit win the Excelsior Award. Lumines Arise took the Coney Island Dreamland Award for virtual reality. The Central Park Children’s Zoo Award went to Donkey Kong Bananza. Is This Seat Taken? earned the A-Train Award for mobile gaming.

Bethesda fans cheered when The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered snagged the High Line Award. News Tower received the Chumley’s Speakeasy Award for overlooked titles. Lies of P: Overture won the NYC GWB Award for expansion content. The Pokémon Company accepted the Andrew Yoon Legend Award instead of an individual executive.
