Collapsed road rebuilt for safer travel to Gua Musang

A collapsed section of the Gua Musang-Jeli Road has been fully rebuilt, according to the Kelantan Public Works Department. Director Nik Badlihisham Nik Ismail reported that the 4.1 million ringgit reconstruction of the damaged stretch at Kilometre 35 was finished. The initial failure, attributed to an aged culvert, required nearly eight months of repair work.

Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani, the Nenggiri Assemblyman, stated that the new infrastructure features enhanced drainage and modern safety systems. He expressed gratitude for the department's efforts in completing the project. Residents confirmed the road's importance as a primary route, noting their previous reliance on a lengthy and inconvenient temporary path for nearly ten months.
