Cops in Kano bag two who bled rapper Lil Kesh

Kano State Police detained Matthew Adewole and Mukhtar Muhammad after intelligence operations led authorities to Na'ibawa Quarters on September 11, 2025. Officers linked both men to the violent attack against rapper Keshinro Ololade, known professionally as Lil Kesh, which occurred at Bera Estate in Lagos. Adewole confessed to storming the musician's residence on August 19, 2025, where he inflicted severe neck injuries during what investigators classify as attempted murder. The perpetrator compelled the victim to electronically transfer ₦2.12 million into Muhammad's banking account before escaping the crime scene. Lagos State Police Command received custody of both suspects for continued investigation and formal charges under Inspector General Kayode Egbetokun's directive to combat violent crimes through enhanced intelligence work.
