Croatian airports reported increased passenger traffic for September 2025, signaling a continued extension of the tourist season. The country's airports served a total of 1.8 million passengers, a 6.1 percent rise compared to the previous year. Split Airport led with 533,000 passengers, followed by Zagreb Airport with 466,000 and Dubrovnik Airport with 441,000. Aircraft operations also grew by 4.3 percent.
The largest international passenger volumes were linked to airports in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Poland. In contrast, cargo traffic saw a significant decline of 27.6 percent. For the upcoming winter season, Croatia will maintain direct air connections to 69 cities across 25 countries, including destinations like Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
