A Bulawayo guy got six years for holding cocaine and weed after cops busted him and his wife during a traffic stop. Darian-Lee Kevin Lloyd Jackson from West Somerton will do four years behind bars after the magistrate knocked off two for good behavior conditions, while his wife, Lakin Lee Robinson, is fighting the charges and heads to trial soon.
Detectives got tipped off about a white car moving product around the city center and tracked down the couple. The search turned up cocaine sachets, regular weed bags, and cannabis edibles hidden all over the vehicle. Officers hit their house afterward and found buckets full of loose weed, prerolled joints, and more edibles stashed away.
The total haul came out to around nine kilos of cannabis and a few grams of coke. Jackson copped to everything right away, which helped him dodge the full sentence, but his wife is still maintaining innocence.
