Demand for NVIDIA's RTX 5090 finally collapses to its $1999 MSRP

NVIDIA's flagship graphics card experiences significant price reductions six months following its market debut. The GeForce RTX 5090 demonstrates improved retail availability across major electronics retailers. Best Buy currently offers the ASUS TUF Gaming variant at the official manufacturer's suggested retail price of $1999. This represents a substantial decrease from previous pricing that ranged between $2300 and $2700 for most models. European markets consistently display lower pricing compared to North American retailers.

The ASUS model features a 2407 MHz boost clock with overclocking capabilities reaching 2437 MHz. Triple-fan cooling systems and vapor chamber technology provide enhanced thermal management through twelve heat pipes. Dual BIOS functionality allows users to select between quiet and performance operating modes. Walmart lists the MSI Ventus 3X OC edition at $2299, representing one of the few alternatives approaching standard pricing. Industry observers anticipate additional graphics card models will achieve manufacturer pricing within coming weeks as market conditions stabilize.
