Government and non-government representatives called for coordinated social programs during a Monday seminar in Dhaka to protect children of garment workers from violence and exploitation. The event, organized by Terre des Hommes Netherlands, Breaking the Silence, and Village Education Resource Center, emphasized building sustainable community-based protection structures. The Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Local Government Division, and Department of Social Services were identified as primary agencies for implementation.

Participants recommended establishing child-friendly protection frameworks in garment areas and creating specialized law enforcement units.
