Division 2 DLC Battle for Brooklyn Drops May 27

Ubisoft Massive shared details about The Division 2's new expansion. Battle for Brooklyn arrives May 27 on PC and all consoles with a $14.99 price tag. Players who buy the Gold Edition or Ultimate Edition receive the add-on with their purchase. These packages contain the main game, Warlords of New York expansion, extra storage space, and level boosts for quick access to new content. The Ultimate version gives players bonus credits and Year 1 Pass benefits.

The expansion returns players to where the first game began. This Brooklyn looks different with fresh areas to discover. The team created story missions that focus on narrative rather than side tasks. Most people will finish their first run between six and ten hours. Enemies called Cleaners use new Purple Flame weapons that eat away at player armor.

Smart Cover makes a comeback with updated features for all game modes. This skill boosts defense and attack power when players hide behind walls. It helps against boss enemies through two versions - Precision and Fortified - each balanced differently for player versus player combat.

Ubisoft plans much more beyond this expansion. Year 7 will improve how new players start, add deeper endgame activities, and deliver regular seasonal updates. The game world changes more based on player choices, letting people earn special weapon plans. These improvements aim to keep the game fresh for long-term fans.
