Students at the Caprivi Senior Secondary School hostel in Zambezi region can finally sleep comfortably thanks to generous donors who gave 554 mattresses over the past few weeks. Before these donations came through, around 540 kids had to sleep on bare beds or mattresses that were completely worn out and old. Last Friday marked another happy day when Kamunu Wholesale Companies handed over 50 more mattresses to the school. These new beds cost about N$75,000 and made a huge difference.
The school principal, Richard Musilizo, accepted this latest gift with open arms and heartfelt thanks. He expressed deep appreciation for every mattress that arrived at their doorstep. Mr. Musilizo believes all these acts from different donors will help boost learning results for Namibian children who live in the Zambezi region. The principal seemed genuinely moved by how the community stepped up to help.
Students who once struggled to rest properly after long days of studying can now enjoy decent sleep conditions. This change represents more than just comfort—it shows how community support directly impacts educational environments. The entire school community appears thankful for this dramatic improvement in their living situation. Better rest means the students can focus better during classes and improve their academic performance.
