F1 Stars Face Probe After Canadian GP Chaos

Seven Formula 1 drivers face investigation from FIA stewards during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend. Officials will examine Kimi Antonelli, Oscar Piastri, Esteban Ocon, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Pierre Gasly and Lance Stroll for safety car violations. The specific details about what each driver did wrong remain unclear at this time. Race stewards continue reviewing evidence before making any decisions about penalties or punishments.

Lando Norris crashed into his McLaren teammate during lap 67 of the 70-lap race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The collision badly damaged his car and brought out the safety car for the final portion of the race. The safety car stayed on track until drivers crossed the finish line. This incident may have contributed to the infractions that officials are currently investigating.
