The Fifty 50 Club plans to construct a children's weighing center at Kyekyewere-Dadwen Community-based Health Planning and Services compound. This Obuasi nonprofit organization will allocate GH₵70,000 to the project as part of its fifth anniversary celebrations. Jacob Edmund Acquah, the club president, stated that healthcare facility staff requested this addition during previous medical equipment donations. The completed center will offer growth monitoring services, vaccination programs, vitamin A supplements, and caregiver education about child development. Health officials believe this facility will enhance maternal and child health services throughout the electoral area.
District Health Director Eric Attuahene endorsed the project and emphasized its role in preventing mother-to-child HIV transmission through antiretroviral therapy and counseling services. Assembly Member Appiah Kubi expressed appreciation for the intervention and noted it would help transform the compound into a complete health center. The club also contributed GH₵10,000 toward metal bunk beds for T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School's female dormitory after fire damage. This donation supplements their earlier contribution of 30 beds worth GH₵24,000. Anniversary activities have generated total investments of GH₵160,000 across multiple community projects.
