Fire rages at Ayesha Garments in Ashulia, Savar

Six fire units responded to a blaze at Ayesha Garments in the Jamgora area of Ashulia, Savar, opposite Fantasy Kingdom. The fire began at approximately 12:15 p.m. on Monday, but crews had not controlled the flames by 1 p.m. Sabuj Islam, a firefighter from Zirabo Modern Fire Station, said his department received the alert shortly after noon. Three units from Zirabo Fire Station and three from DEPZ arrived at the scene to combat the fire.
