Malaysia Aviation Group will relocate Firefly's jet operations from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport to Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 on August 19, 2025. Turboprop services will remain at Subang Airport to maintain regional connectivity. Group managing director Datuk Captain Izham Ismail announced the move enhances operational efficiency through shared resources and improved passenger connections. The relocation forms part of a broader network optimization strategy for sustainable jet services. KLIA's expanded capacity supports greater scalability while strengthening Malaysia's primary aviation hub status.
