People from the Kenya Wildlife Service and Kenya Forest Service are working hard to stop fires in two big forests, Aberdare and Mt Kenya.
The fires started in different places and are spreading very fast. Lucy Mwati, who helps take care of mountains in Kenya, said teams are fighting a fire in the Embaringo part of Aberdare Forest.
This fire has been burning for a week already. When they put out one fire, another one starts somewhere else because the weather is very hot.
"The fire in the northern part of the forest keeps burning, and we are trying our best to stop it," she said.
In Mt Kenya Forest, another group of people who protect nature is trying to stop a fire in Burguret. The fire began on Monday in one spot but then spread to other areas.
They managed to put out the fire in one part, but it still burns in other places. The Kenya Wildlife Service will tell everyone more about these fires later.
Many fires like these have happened in central Kenya lately. Because the weather has been dry for a long time, people are worried about what will happen to the forests.
Forest workers are also trying to stop fires in Isiolo forests. Weather experts say the hot weather causes these fires, and they think more trees might burn in the coming days.
