GALAX denies factory shutdown rumors as production continues

GALAX says its factories are still running and graphics cards remain on sale, despite rumors that the brand might shut down. The firm is pushing back on claims of halted output and wider trouble with its business.

Much of the chatter stems from a shift in control. Palit Group took charge of GALAX's international business, and that led some people to think the GPU brand was on its way out. Palit denied those claims and kept its plans for new hardware and customer support intact.

One detail worth a look is the link with Tongde. Both firms sit within the same group, and their manufacturing sites serve each brand. According to GALAX, those plants remain active, with no closures or halt to normal work.

The wider shake-up also brought GALAX, KFA2, and HOF under Palit's main management team. That was a change in who runs the brands, not a plan to scrap them. Palit maintained that the product lineup and future development plans would carry on.

Over in China, the setup has a different angle. GALAX says its local business remains stable after an internal overhaul that brought research, factory work, sales, and support under a new structure. The domestic lineup remains part of its plans, while Palit handles overseas service.

For customers, the main point is fairly simple. GALAX claims its gear can still be bought from its usual retail partners, with no general break in supply. That matters for anyone worried about finding cards or getting help with an existing product.

Still, there is a limit to what has been checked. The management handover and Palit's public denial of an exit are documented, but no outside inspection has confirmed the status of each factory. The claims about plant activity and stock remain GALAX's account of the situation.
