Ghana promises to make friends with Mozambique even stronger as the African country marks fifty years of freedom. Communication Minister Samuel Nartey George spoke at a party held at the High Commission Saturday morning. He talked about how Mozambique fought hard to break free from colonial powers decades ago. George said Ghana stood with Mozambique during their tough fight for independence. The minister praised how far Mozambique has come since winning their freedom.
George told everyone about Mozambique's amazing progress over five decades of independence. He mentioned their success building the nation despite wars and natural disasters hitting them hard. The country has made great strides with energy projects, farming, schools, and working with neighboring countries. George announced they would restart a special partnership committee between both nations. This group will help both countries work together on farming, oil, fishing, trade, money matters, safety, and education.
