Ghanaian journalist Rebekah Awuah joins the UNESCO jury for the Guillermo Cano World Press Freedom Prize. She becomes the first person from Ghana to serve on this important global panel. The appointment recognizes her strong work defending press freedom and investigative reporting across Africa. Awuah said she wants to use this position as a voice for reporters who work under dangerous conditions. Her selection helps bring African viewpoints to international discussions about media rights.
