Nigeria's outdoor advertising industry gains a new digital marketplace as GlobeTrotter launches operations at an event in Ikeja, Lagos, with backing from the Out of Home Advertising Association of Nigeria. The platform enables asset owners to list billboard inventory while allowing advertisers and agencies to search, compare and book advertising space through a centralized online system with transparent pricing and automated transactions.
Managing Director Ayodele Akingbade said the marketplace addresses persistent challenges such as fragmented asset information and manual processes that have limited the sector's growth potential. Charles Chijide, chairman of the association's board of trustees, urged members to register their sites on the platform to create a stronger regional marketplace. The system provides global accessibility, letting users purchase Nigerian advertising space from any location with internet connectivity.
