Govt denies NIB probe into ex prez travels

Felix Kwakye Ofosu has spoken out against rumors about presidential orders. The Minister of State for Government Communications posted on Facebook to clarify things. He directly stated that the Presidency never instructed the National Intelligence Bureau to examine former President Akufo-Addo's official trips abroad. This comes after several news outlets claimed President Mahama had demanded such an investigation.

Many people criticized how much money these presidential journeys cost regular taxpayers. These critics pushed hard for officials to look into exactly what happened with travel expenses. The debate heated up as more people questioned whether luxury travel arrangements wasted public funds. Yet, despite all this talk, the current administration firmly denies ordering any probe.

The government stands by its position that no investigation exists. They describe all reports suggesting otherwise as completely false. Kwakye Ofosu made his statement very clear to stop confusion among citizens. His message aimed to put an end to speculation that had spread through various media channels during recent days.
