Harare branch leaders of Zanu PF want to add businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei to their Central Committee. They voted on this idea during a meeting at their local office today. The local chairman, Godwills Masimirembwa, announced the plan when talking to members. He said everyone from Harare who sits on the Central Committee agreed with adding Tagwirei.
Masimirembwa described Tagwirei as a current party member who lives in Harare. He praised him as someone who thinks ahead about business matters. The chairman called him valuable to the entire Harare area. Every single person at the meeting voted yes on forwarding this request.
The group plans to tell Dr. Obert Mpofu about their choice since he runs things as Secretary-General. Youth leader Emmanuel Mahachi spoke up after the vote. He mentioned how Tagwirei helps find money for party activities whenever they need it.
