Director Vineeth Varaprasad has announced the title of his upcoming action feature as Dashamakan. The film stars Harish Kalyan as a rapper, with Preity Mukhundhan also in a leading role.
Varaprasad explained that the project is musically oriented and draws from his personal experiences, set in a part of Chennai he knows intimately. He described his intention to showcase the talent and progressive spirit of the city, particularly comparing North Madras to Brazil. The production provided opportunities for numerous junior artists and introduced eight new rappers.
The technical crew includes cinematographer Karthik Ashokan and music director Britto Michael, with editing handled by Madhan.
