He-Man Actor Ditches Sword and Loincloth After Wrap

Nicholas Galitzine finished filming Masters of the Universe and shared news about the project Sunday. The actor posted a shadow photo on Instagram after completing work on the Amazon MGM Studios film. Director Travis Knight led the production based on the classic toy line and cartoon series. Galitzine expressed pride about playing both Prince Adam and He-Man characters. He thanked cast members and crew workers for their dedication during filming.

The movie features several well-known actors alongside Galitzine as the main character. Camila Mendes plays Teela and Alison Brie takes on the role of Evil-Lyn. Jared Leto portrays the villain Skeletor and Idris Elba appears as Duncan. Other cast members portray various characters from the original Masters of the Universe stories.

The story follows 10-year-old Prince Adam who crashes on Earth after losing his magical Power Sword. He spends nearly twenty years searching for the weapon that connects him to his home planet Eternia. Adam must return to defend Eternia against Skeletor and other evil forces threatening the universe. The character needs to discover his past and transform into He-Man to defeat powerful villains. Theaters will show the completed film starting June 5, 2026.
