Thirty people crammed into one room, recording live, and the whole thing came out as a five-track project about not giving up. The Hope City Church Music Team dropped The Hope Project, tracked in a worship setting they describe as thick with the Holy Spirit's presence.
The track list runs Holy Spirit Move, My Anchor, Cloud of Glory, Spoken Word, and Hope Song, each carrying its own encouraging angle.
Deacon Stephen Kofi Okyere, who leads music at the Milton Keynes branch in the UK, says the idea came through spiritual inspiration, meant for a generation stuck in uncertainty. His framing is that real peace lands in Christ, and the record works as fuel for anybody running on empty.
Shoutouts went out to Rev. Gerald Gyane, the lead pastor behind the vision, and to Apostle Dr. Lord Elorm Donkor, who heads Church of Pentecost UK. Okyere also credited the 30-person team for the grind it took.
