HoRNet Plugins introduced SpectraDuck spectral ducker

HoRNet Plugins just dropped a sidechain ducker that only cuts the frequencies actually getting masked instead of nuking your entire signal like a caveman. SpectraDuck runs real-time FFT spectral analysis, figures out where the sidechain is dominating, and ducks only those regions. Everything else passes through clean with zero crossovers and zero phase weirdness between bands.

The whole workflow boils down to three knobs covering Amount, Range up to 24 dB, and Sharpness, which supposedly handles 90 percent of mixing scenarios without extra fiddling. It also packs an HP/LP detector filter, auto-estimated envelope times, lookahead for percussive transients, and a mid-side mode for stereo buses. Visual feedback shows input, post-ducking, and gain reduction in separate colors.

Latency sits around 5 ms with full PDC compensation, and it runs VST3, AU, AAX, and Standalone on both macOS and Windows. Sample rates go from 44.1 kHz all the way up to 192 kHz. No dongle, no copy protection nonsense, just a direct download. The whole thing runs €29.99.
