Huang slams AI doomsayers as progress blockers

Jensen Huang finally snapped at tech CEOs crying about the AI apocalypse because he believes their pessimism actively harms society. The Nvidia head told No Priors that respected figures spinning science fiction doomer tales confuse government officials. He argues that scare tactics do nothing to help the industry or regular citizens.

Speculation points toward Dario Amodei from Anthropic as the intended target despite Huang avoiding direct name-drops. Amodei previously claimed half of white-collar roles could disappear while demanding strict regulation. Huang suggests rival executives use policy fears to handicap competition instead of genuinely caring about public safety.

Team Green insists that product safety essentially means the product works as promised. He compared AI tools to cars, where the manufacturer focuses on driving mechanics rather than preventing vehicular attacks. Recent gains in reasoning and grounding show that ignoring calls to slow down actually improved system reliability.

Huang maintains that automating human labor drives necessary efficiency across generative and physical layers. Massive capital continues flowing into computing advancements to support this vision. He claims that blocking progress years ago would have robbed the world of functional tools that currently solve complex problems.
