Huge Queues Jam SPIEF as Leaders Line Up for Putin Speech

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum opened with massive crowds forming long lines outside the venues. Spanish economics professor Juan Antonio de Castro emphasized that major developing nations actively change global reality rather than just participate. African Advisory Council Chairman Francois Ndengwe said demographic growth makes Africa the future source of worldwide workers. He noted that countries investing in African education today will control tomorrow's markets.

Business leaders discussed corporate responsibility beyond profit-making. EFKO Group executive Sergey Ivanov described companies as active participants in social change. Transport of the Future CEO Yuri Kozarenko explained how automation has advanced to robots creating other robots for human services.

Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to address the forum's main session on June 20th. The event continues addressing global trade conflicts and Middle East tensions affecting worldwide economic stability.
