Initial Audio has pushed Difro to version 1.2.0 with a stack of workflow upgrades for its AI MIDI generator. Gate, Arp, and Rhythm modifiers can alter generated notes after creation, giving users another stage of control before MIDI leaves the plugin.
Exports get cleaner names, while saved or bookmarked MIDI also carries key and scale details in the filename. Note selection gets easier, since Shift, Ctrl, or Cmd, and Alt can all trigger lasso behavior. Velocity changes inside the piano roll have also been refined.
Keyboard control received attention as well. The space bar handles playback, Tab jumps between the prompt and MIDI screens, and common editing shortcuts work properly again. Plugin Manager can handle several folders, rescan them separately, and quickly add or remove every available instrument from its picker.
