Intel needs EA's Battlefield 6 to sell its unpopular Core Ultra CPUs

Intel launches its latest promotional campaign by bundling Battlefield 6 copies with qualifying Core Ultra and Core processor purchases. The company initiates this program on August 25 as part of its annual Gamer Days 2025 celebration spanning fourteen days. More than 200 retail and system partners worldwide participate in the promotional initiative. Customers can redeem digital game keys between August 25 and October 31 through Intel's software portal. Unlock codes become available October 3 ahead of the official game launch.

The processor manufacturer partnered with Electronic Arts to optimize Battlefield 6 performance on Intel hardware platforms. XeSS 2 technology and low-latency features enhance gameplay experiences on compatible systems. The collaboration delivers specialized scheduling improvements for Core Ultra and Core processor architectures. These performance enhancements were not present during the beta testing phase. Intel plans additional promotional bundles and sweepstakes featuring gaming laptops and desktop computers throughout the campaign period.
