Islamabad youth program, PILDAT join forces to drive civic action in Pakistan

The Prime Minister's Youth Programme entered a formal agreement with the Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency during a recent ceremony. Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan led the proceedings at the Prime Minister's Office as both organizations committed to strengthening democratic participation among Pakistani youth. This partnership will launch multiple programs designed to build civic awareness and leadership skills across the country. The collaboration encompasses training workshops, educational materials, and research initiatives focused on democratic principles. Digital platforms will serve as key tools for reaching young citizens nationwide.

The agreement supports various programs such as Youth Parliament Pakistan and Democracy Talks while contributing valuable data for Pakistan's inaugural National Adolescent & Youth Policy. Chairman Khan emphasized the partnership's alignment with the government's comprehensive 4Es approach covering Education, Engagement, Employment, and Environment. The initiative represents a significant step toward developing responsible and active young leaders. Seminars and conferences will complement digital outreach efforts to strengthen democratic values. This collaboration demonstrates the state's dedication to preparing youth for meaningful civic participation.
