Secka Aims for Youth Representation in Busumbala to Drive Change

Ebrima H. Secka campaigns for National Youth Parliament representation from Busumbala Constituency. The candidate told Voice newspaper he seeks to become a servant-leader for young citizens. Secka works as a youth leader and civic educator who sees how officials often ignore younger voices. He believes Busumbala and Gambia need bold youth advocates who focus on real results. The politician wants people to remember him as someone who fought for those without power.

Secka plans to create a Youth Constituency Forum for his area. The forum would host regular community meetings and school visits to hear from young residents. Digital platforms would also help collect ideas and concerns from local youth. Their suggestions would guide his work at the National Youth Parliament. Community input would shape his policy positions and advocacy efforts.

The candidate focuses on several key issues affecting young people. Jobs and skills training rank as top concerns for his campaign. Education access and civic participation also receive attention from Secka. Mental health awareness programs would address growing needs among youth populations. Climate action across the West Coast Region rounds out his priority list.

Busumbala faces serious challenges that hurt young residents daily. Many youth cannot find jobs or access training programs that build valuable skills. Start-up money remains difficult to obtain for young entrepreneurs who want to launch businesses. Few young people participate when officials make important policy decisions. Secka says a gap exists between government leaders and the real problems youth face each day.
